“When studying Tàijíquán 太極拳, there are always easy and difficult points. Only by working hard we can improve our standard, we cannot wait, cannot rush, we need to do thing step by step. At the end, we will reach a high level. Our bones and tendons will be strong and connected, the upper and lower body and the inside and outside will be connected, the whole body is all connected. The parts that are loose will be controlled and the parts that are separate will be connected together and become one Tàijíquán”

This means whenever we study Tàijíquán, there are some parts that are difficult and some parts that are easy. No matter what, we keep working hard and keep practising. We should not worry and not give up, and then eventually, we will reach a good standard. We just keep practising step by step. In Tàijíquán we say “練拳萬遍,其理自見 Liàn quán wàn biàn, qí lǐ zì jiàn – Practice ten thousand times, then the theory will be seen.”
