Wáng Zōng Yuè’s Tàijíquán Poem 王宗岳太極拳論 goes on to say, “人不知我,我獨知人,英雄所向無敵,蓋皆由此而及也。Other people do not know me, but I know everything about them. A person like this is a hero and invincible. This is what we know from this.”
If our skill is Tàijíquán 太極拳 is high, other people will not know us, but we will know everything about them. This is a high level of sensitivity for the body, and we can sense everything, often even when there is no contact with the opponent, it if all based on feeling. So, when our opponent moves, we know what to do to take advantage of the situation. “A person like this is a hero and invincible. This is what we know from this.” Everyone wants to reach the highest level of Tàijíquán. If we reach that level, then we will know everything, even before it happens, and so we can control and take advantage of the situation. Who would not like to be like that? It is the same in everyday life, we will know what will happen, what is next and what we should do to make the perfect action to benefit from that situation. We will be a hero and invincible. Studying Tàijíquán has so many benefits, it is not just forms and for fighting, it teaches us to become a high level being.
