Shùn and Nì Chán Sī Jìn 順與逆纏絲勁 – Part 10 Turn Waist 轉腰 -順—前—後 Shun One After Another

Coming back to Turn Waist Shùn and Nì Chán Sī Jìn 順與逆纏絲勁, we now have Turn Waist轉腰 – 順—前—後Shùn One After Another.

Stand in a medium horse stance, with the feet two shoulder widths apart, back straight and the hands resting in front of the Dāntián 丹田. Begin to turn the body the left side – do not shift the weight, keep it at the centre and just turn the Dāntián left and then eventually right. Lift up the right hand from the Dāntián up the Rèn Mài 任脉 to the face, starting a Shùn Chán Sī Jìn 順纏絲勁 circle. Begin to turn the right, the right hand moves outwards and at the same time the left hand starts to rise up the Rèn Mài, to the face and making another Shùn Chán Sī Jìn circle. As the left hand rises the right hand goes down and circles back in to the Dāntián. When the left hand has risen up turn the body to the left and when the right hand raises up turn the body to the right. Keep turning and circling the hands one after another. This means the hands circle outwards in a Shùn Chán Sī Jìn circle. Repeat ten times or more and then move on to Turn Waist 轉腰 – 逆—前—後 Nì one after another.
